Notice

With July 4th approaching, the subject of fireworks in our subdivision needs to be addressed. With homeowners in such close proximity to one another, it is important to practice courtesy and consideration to safety and fire hazards. There have been instances of rockets landing on homeowners roofs and decks.

Cooperation and regard for our neighbor's property makes for a better community for all.

Important Reminder

There has been a report of a burglary in the area. For your safety and to protect your home please remember:
  • At night, close your garage doors
  • Make sure all doors are locked
  • If you have a security system, please turn it on at night or when leaving your home.

November, 2010

In our previous meeting we elected new board members to the Home Owner's Association.

Also we've annouced that we have a new contract with Industrial Disposal for garbage collection that has reduced our individual rates. The contract is listed in the Section titled Document Reference.

November 9, 2010

Next Board Meeting will be on November 9 at 7PM in the Clubhouse. We will be discussing garbage pickup. And voting on some important topics.

Also, note that if enough neighbors join our Yahoo Group we can have move our discussions regarding upcoming meetings and general announcements to there. Right now a lot of discussions with the board happen through email, where not everyone can access them; not everything should be shared, but it would be nice to share some discussions. It would also give us a central place to keep everyone's email address that they can update themselves.

September, 2010

Next Board Meeting will be on September 23 at 7PM in the Clubhouse.

May, 2010

Management of the Landis Lakes Recreation Association has been turned over to members of Landis Lakes, Woods of Landis Lakes, and Academy Ridge neighborhoods. Bob Crouch, Fred Wells, and John Rham have been elected to represent each neighborhood. You can read more about the transition in our newletter:

April, 2010

On Wednesday April 14, 2010 at 7:00 PM there will be special meeting at the Landis Lakes Clubhouse. The principal purpose of the meeting is to review with the members the history of the Association, the books and records, outstanding Association dues and collection efforts, election of directors and to turn the day to day operation of the Association over to the new board of directors elected by the residents.

Everyone in our neighborhood should have received a letter announcing the meeting and a form to designate a Proxy. The Proxy form allows you to delegate your vote to another person in case you will not be able to attend the meeting.
